In the spring of 2024, the opportunity arose for Brian, Dutchie and Graham to purchase Westland RV Manufacturer from Huy Nguyen. With a combined industry experience of 60 years and with the quality and legacy of the Westland truck camper it was an easy decision for the three partners to purchase Westland RV Manufacturer. In December 2024, Westland was relocated to Lethbridge, Alberta to our new facility, which doubles our production capacity.
A testament to the dedication of our employees was proven with 80% of our staff joining the relocation to Lethbridge, Alberta. It is our commitment to continue the legacy that was started 33 years ago, by producing the most light-weight, economical, quality truck camper in the industry.

Huy, the founder of Westland RV, started the company in 1992 with a vision fueled by his engineering background and a passion for building. At 34 years old, he began the business with just himself and one employee, steadily growing the company over the years. For the first three years, it was a small operation, but Huy's dedication and expertise led to significant expansion.
By 2024, Westland RV produced 120 units annually, a remarkable growth from the 32 units built in its first year. Having moved from Vietnam in 1980 to Canada, Huy’s journey is a testament to hard work, innovation, and a love for craftsmanship. We hope to continue his amazing legacy and make him proud!
